Embed Sigma reports

Reports in My Report Portal are embedded Sigma Computing workbooks. You author them in Sigma; the portal signs the embed and enforces who may open it.

Connect Sigma once

Under Settings → Sigma, provide:

Field	Where to find it
Client ID	Sigma → Administration → APIs & Embed Secrets
Client secret	Shown once when the secret is created
Organization slug	Your Sigma workspace URL

The secret is stored encrypted and is never sent to the browser.

Add a report to a portal

1. Open the portal and choose Add report.
2. Paste the Sigma workbook URL.
3. Set the name viewers will see. It does not have to match the Sigma title.
4. Save, then reorder reports by dragging them.

Scope data per viewer

Pass viewer attributes into Sigma so one workbook serves every customer:

1. In Sigma, define a control or user attribute such as account_id.
2. In the report’s Data scoping panel, map that attribute to a viewer field.
3. Sigma applies the value at query time — each viewer sees only their own rows.

Verify scoping by opening the portal as a test viewer before inviting anyone real.
