Preview Portal

Launch Preview Mode

Go to the left sidebar and select Preview Portal near the bottom of the navigation menu. This will open a live preview of your portal.

Impersonate a Specific Embed Team User

• In the preview window, look for the Preview Mode toolbar at the bottom of the screen.
• Search for the embed user name in the toolbar to impersonate a specific embed user.
• Test their view: The portal will immediately refresh to display only the navigation items, folders, and embedded Sigma workbooks that the selected embed user has permission to see.

Use this feature to double-check that your data access guardrails are working perfectly before sharing the portal links with your clients or team members!
