Import an Existing Sigma Team

Open Embed Teams & Start Import

Section titled “Open Embed Teams & Start Import”
  • In the left sidebar under the Content section, click Embed Teams.
  • Click the + Add Embed Team button in the top right corner.
  • In the modal, click Import from Sigma.

Select Your Sigma Team

  • Open the Sigma team dropdown menu.
  • Search for and select your existing Sigma team (e.g., “My Existing Team”).
  • Click Continue.

Review the Import Summary

Section titled “Review the Import Summary”

Review the automatic breakdown provided by MyReportPortal:

  • Embed users to create: Shows how many new embed users from the Sigma team will be created in MyReportPortal.
  • Already in the portal: Shows existing MyReportPortal users that will simply be synced to this team.
  • Sigma users skipped: Non-embed users (such as licensed Sigma internal seats) are automatically identified and skipped so they aren’t imported into your portal.

Configure Settings & Finalize Import

Section titled “Configure Settings & Finalize Import”
  • Embed team name: Leave the name identical to your Sigma team (recommended to avoid confusion) or edit it if necessary.
  • Send invitation emails: Check this box if you want to send automated portal invite emails to newly created users, or uncheck it to communicate credentials later.
  • Click Import Team.

Verify Synced Status

Section titled “Verify Synced Status”
  • In MyReportPortal: You will see the new team listed alongside all synced embed users.
  • In Sigma Administration: The team description will automatically update with a system tag indicating that the team is now synced with your MyReportPortal instance.
